libaudio-cd-perl software package provides library to handle CDDB and low-level cd io calls, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libaudio-cd-perl
libaudio-cd-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libaudio-cd-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libaudio-cd-perl *
You will get with libaudio-cd-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
